Shortn started in 2023 to handle the links for a Portuguese business publisher, still our largest customer. It has run their web and print links ever since.
How we build it
Honest by default
Prices are on the page, you can cancel from your billing settings, and there are no dark patterns in checkout.
Links that last
A printed QR code can stay on a shelf for years, so links keep working when you change plans, and a deleted link keeps its key for 30 days in case you need it back.
Careful with visitor data
We store visitor IP addresses hashed and delete the raw addresses after 90 days. We don't sell data.
Open to your tools
A public API, webhooks and an MCP server, documented in the open.
Shortn is available in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
